Mercury Crosses 40 Degree Mark At Nine Places In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: With rising heatwave conditions, maximum temperature above 40 degree Celsius has been recorded at nine places in Odisha on Saturday.

While temperature in Talcher was the highest at 43.1 degree Celsius, it was 43.0 in Titlagarh, 42.7 in Angul, 42.5 in Bhawanipatna, 42.0 in Bolangir, 40.9 in Jharsuguda, 40.8 in Sonepur, 40.1 in Sambalpur and 40.0 in Sundargarh.

Likewise, temperature in Hirakud was 39.9 degree Celsius, 39.5 in Bhubaneswar, 39.0 in Malkangiri, 38.6 in Cuttack, 38.0 in Keonjhar, 37.2 in Chandbali, 37.0 in Koraput, 36.5 in Daringbadi, 35.8 in Balasore, 35.5 in Baripada, 33.1 in Gopalpur, 33.0 in Puri and 32.0 in Paradip.
