Bhubaneswar: Dry weather is likely to prevail across Odisha during the next three days with light rain/thundershowers expected during the weekend at several places in the state.
The midday bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that light rainfall occurred at one or two places in Keonjhar and Balasore in north Odisha and dry weather prevailed over the rest districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog has occurred at one or two places with Dense Fog at one or two places over the districts of Angul and Nayagarh.
The minimum temperatures observed an appreciable rise at a few places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, at one or two places in north coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha, and no large change elsewhere in Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two in interior Odisha, markedly above normal at a few places, appreciably above normal at many places in coastal Odisha and a few places over the districts of interior Odisha, and above normal elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and Bhawanipatna and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.5°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
