Bhubaneswar: The mercury started soaring across Odisha early Monday morning giving a hint of the days to come. At least three places in the state recorded temperatures about 37°C at 11.30 am, while the day temperature at five other places was above 35°C.
Balasore was the hottest place recording 37.6°C followed by Chandabali and Jharsuguda at 37.2°C.
The temperatures recorded by the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 11.30 am are below:
