Methodology For Opening And Closing Of Grievance Module Under KALIA Scheme Modified

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government in the interest of farmers has modified the methodology for opening and closing of the grievance module under KALIA Scheme.

Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department modified the order after the approval of Ranendra Pratap Swain, Minister, Agriculture and FE, Fisheries and ARD, said an official press release.

As per the modified methodology, the online grievance portal shall be opened immediately after payment of KALIA assistance for 90 days instead of 30 days and all these grievances will be verified from the field level within 45 days.

But, the grievance portal shall be opened immediately after issue of this order and in view of the next instalment of KALIA assistance it will remain open till 31st July 2023 in respect of release of Kharif’ 2023 assistance on 1st April 2023 and 23rd May 2023.

The modalities mentioned above shall be followed in subsequent season and years. This shall come into force with effort from the date of issue of the order.
