Migrant Worker Stabbed In Baripada; Rushed To Cuttack’s SCB

Baripada: A young man was stabbed by an unknown assailant in Baripada Station Bazar area on Wednesday morning.

The victim, identified as Munna Yadav, a migrant worker from Bihar, was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Mayurbhanj. As his condition deteriorated, he was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the victim was returning from the vegetable market. The miscreant reportedly attacked Yadav, who works at a local liquor counter, with a knife before fleeing the scene.

Yadav’s condition is said to be critical, and he is currently undergoing treatment in Cuttack.
