Cuttack: Veteran Ollywood actor Mihir Das was cremated with full state honours at Sati Chaura Crematorium in Cuttack on Wednesday.
The 63-year-old actor passed away while undergoing treatment in a private hospital at Cuttack on Tuesday.
Das had been admitted to the hospital a few days back after he had suffered a cardiac arrest. He was on ventilator support.
He was diabetic and was suffering from multi-organ failure. Both of his kidneys had stopped functioning and he was on dialysis.
Despite all efforts by the attending doctors, Das breathed his last at 3.25 PM. His son Amlan was by his side at the time of his death.
