Bhubaneswar: Science & Technology Minister Ashok Chandra Panda on Monday inaugurated the Odisha Pavilion at Global Bio-India 2023.
As many as 10 innovative Biotech Startups from the State are participating in Global Bio-India 2023 being held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from December 4th to 6th.
Odisha, with a robust Biotech ecosystem, is expected to attract global attention in this event.
“With vast BioResources, Incubation, Modern BioTech Park, an enabling Industry Ecosystem coupled with a dynamic policy framework—IPR 2022 Odisha is making rapid strides in the BioTech sector to be a part of the global economy,” highlighted Panda speaking at the event.
Chairperson of Biocon Limited Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, a luminary in the BioTech field in India visited the Odisha Pavilion.
Shaw interacted with the startups from the state showcased at the event & appreciated Odisha’s strides in the BioTech sector.
