Bhubaneswar: The state government removed the chairperson of seven development authorities including CDA, BDA and appointed Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra as the chairman of all development authorities. The appointment was made with immediate effect.
Henceforth, Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra will work as the chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) Berhampur Development Authority, Sambalpur Development Authority, Rourkela Development Authority, Puri-Konark Development Authority, Paradip Development Authority, Kalingnagar Development Authority and Talcher-Anugul Meramundali Development Authority.
