Balasore: Manoranjan Behera, 14-year-old son of Jagabandhu Behera, died of snakebite in Manishiali village of Khaira block in Odisha’s Balasore district.
According to reports, Manoranjan was bitten by a river snake while she was sleeping at home on Saturday night. As the matter came to light, his family members rushed him to Soro Hospital in a critical condition. However, doctors at the hospital declared him dead.
Refusing to accept that Manoranjan was dead, his family members sought help from a sorcerer, who tried his tricks for about two hours on the hospital premises. As expected, the sorcerer too failed to bring back the teenager back to life.
