Minor Boy From Bhubaneswar Feared Drowned In Deojhar Waterfall

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a minor boy is feared drowned at Deojhar waterfall in Olab Panchayat under Narasinghpur block in Cuttack district on Tuesday.

The deceased minor has been identified as Ayush Swain (15), who hailed from the Bankual area of Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, Ayush had gone to Deojhar waterfall for sightseeing with his family. While bathing beneath the waterfall, Ayush suddenly drowned.

Despite efforts by Fire Service personnel, Ayush remained untraceable at the time of filing this report. The search and rescue operation had to be halted as night fell.

The rescue operation will resume tomorrow morning.
