Phulbani: Dead bodies of a minor boy and girl were found on the roadside near Putudi chowk under Sadar police limits of Kandhamal district on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Ashish Digal of Dutipada and Deepa Kanhar of Punduli.
Reportedly, both of them were going on a bike somewhere last night. However, their bodies were found today morning with the bike lying in a damaged condition nearby.
Their bodies were identified by their family members today following which Sadar Police sent it to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem. Police has also seized the bike.
While preliminary investigation suggests it to be a case of accident, the truth is yet to be ascertained.
