Minor Boy Killed After Truck Falls Off Bridge In Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A minor boy was killed when a sand-laden truck fell off a bridge in Odisha’s Dhenkanal on Tuesday. The incident occurred near Santhapur village under Gondia police limits of the district.

According to sources, the deceased, identified as Subhakanta Behera, is a Class VIII student. He had gone to the canal under the bridge to take a bath.

The accident is reported to be a fall-out of rash driving. The driver of the truck also sustained severely critical injuries in the incident.

On being informed, Fire Service personnel and police reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
