Koraput: A minor boy identified as Bibek Mohanty succumbed to injuries inflicted by eve teasers of his female friend. The clash took place on Thursday at Rangabali Kumbha village under Koraput Town police limits.
Mohanty was rushed to Sahid Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital by his female friend. However, he had to be shifted to Vishakhapatnam as his condition deteriorated. Local police informed that the minor boy died today at a hospital in Vishakhapatnam.
On the other hand, the police had arrested two youths and detained a minor in this connection. Another youth identified as Babula Parija while helping the accused flee, met with an accident. He died on the spot, the police added.
