Baripada: The bodies of a minor boy and a minor girl were found hanging from a tree in a forest on the outskirts of Chatana village under Morada police limits.
A group of wood collectors spotted the two bodies and informed the seniors at the village following which the police was alerted.
A team from Morada police station was rushed to the spot for inquest and inquiry. While the boy could be identified, the deceased girl’s identity is yet to be established.
According to reports, the boy belonged to Betana village under Rasagobindapur police limits while the girl hailed from Badajoda area under Betanati police limits.
Preliminary investigation suggests it to be a case of suicide. However, Morada police have sent the bodies for autopsy and registered a case.
