Mayurbhanj: In a tragic incident, a 10-year-old boy died in Murgapat Munda Sahi under Karanjia police station limits in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Monday when a wall of a dilapidated house collapsed while he was playing in the rubble.
The deceased has been identified as Turam Banra, son of Nandu Banra of the village.
According to reports, Turam was playing with his three friends in a dilapidated abandoned house when a wall suddenly collapsed on him killing him on the spot.
On being informed, Karanjia police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have also launched an investigation into the minor’s death.
