Berhampur: A 5-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father and stepmother at Tentuliasahu under Digapahandi police limits of Ganjam district.
Following the incident, villagers detained her father identified as Dibakar, and his second wife. Subsequently, they handed them over to the police.
Meanwhile, police have sent the girl’s body for post-mortem and are probing the incident.
