Keonjhar: A minor girl has been hospitalised in critical condition after falling into hot oil at Khalpal village under Ghasipura police limits of Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
Ten-year-old Purnima, daughter of Sambara Murmu of the village, was playing in her house when she accidentally fell into the oil that was being heated to prepare breakfast.
She was immediately rescued and rushed to the Sub Divisional Hospital in Anandapur. More than 50 percent of the body has been burnt.
