Bhubaneswar: A minor girl who went missing on November 19 was found in critical condition at Khurda District Headquarters Hospital on November 20 and has been shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for further treatment. Her health condition is reportedly stable.
The girl’s family had lodged a missing complaint at Baghamari police station, and they have alleged that she was abducted and raped. The police are investigating the case, examining CCTV footage from nearby areas, and have detained two persons for questioning.
Senior police officials, including the Superintendent of Police, have visited the Baghamari police station to expedite the investigation. The medical examination report is awaited to confirm the rape allegations
