Bhadrak: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an elderly man at Dhusuri area in Bhadrak district.
According to reports, the incident occurred on January 11 but the matter came to the fore after the victim disclosed the ordeal to her family members. Subsequently, her family members filed a complaint with Aradi outpost.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case in this connection and detained the accused, who was a neighbour of the victim.
As per reports, police handed over the victim to her family members after undergoing medical examination.
