Bhawanipatna: A minor boy of Kalahandi district in Odisha who had gone to work as a migrant worker in Hyderabad returned home dead on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Somnath Bisi (14) was the son of Durjyodhan Bisi of Pipaljhapar village under Gotamunda panchayat in Kokasara block of Kalahandi.
Somnath was studying in Class IX at Gotamunda High School but six months back, he had gone with his father to Hyderabad to work at a private company.
While working there, Somnath came in contact with a live wire on Tuesday and was admitted to a hospital in critical condition. However, he was not able to survive.
His body reached his village today in an ambulance. A pal of gloom has descended the entire village because of the incident.
