Cuttack: A distressing incident unfolded in Cuttack, where a minor student went missing while bathing in the Mahanadi River with his friends.
According to eyewitnesses, Babu Nayak of Thoria Sahi slipped into the deep water and was unable to swim back to safety, despite his friends being present.
The students immediately informed the fire department, which launched a rescue operation. However, due to darkness, the search was halted and will resume the next day. The authorities are working to locate Babu and bring him to safety
