Bhubaneswar: Two miscreants broke into the house of a woman in the city and looted ornaments and valuable items worth several lakhs.
The incident took place in the afternoon when the woman was alone in her home located in Lane Number 4 of Jagannath Nagar under Saheed Nagar police limits.
The woman sustained serious injuries following the attack and has been admitted to Capital Hospital. According to reports, the woman was tied with a rope after the attack.
Saheed Nagar police arrived at the spot and has started an investigation. A case has been registered in this connection and a manhunt to nab the miscreants launched, the police said.
