Miscreants Dump Youth Into Birupa River After Spat In Kendrapara

Kendrapara: A youth went missing in Birupa river after he was attacked by four miscreants and dumped into the river from the bridge at Indupur in Kendrapara district on Wednesday.

Fire Service personnel have launched a search operation to rescue the missing youth.

According to reports, the missing youth identified as Mantu Mallik, a tractor driver from the Nikirei area was dumped into Birupa River over the bridge by four miscreants at Indupur. The miscreants before dumping Mantu into the river had a spat with the latter. The entire incident has been recorded on a CCTV located nearby.

Since then Mantu has gone missing in the river.  Fire Service personnel have launched a search operation to rescue Mantu. He has not been traced till reports last came in.
