Cuttack: A group of miscreants fired at a jewellery shop owner and his associate and looted gold ornaments worth several lakh rupees. The incident has occurred in Choudwar where a jeweller Debendra Maharana was attacked by miscreants who fired at and injured him.
The injured duo have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital. DCP Prateek Singh rushed to the spot with senior police officials and initiated an inquiry. Choudwar police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
