Miscreants Hurl Bomb At Mission Road In Cuttack; None Injured

Cuttack: Unidentified miscreants reportedly hurled a bomb near a church at Mission Road in Cuttack at last night.

The incident occurred at around 9.15 PM on Friday. No one was injured in the explosion. Who hurled the bomb remains unclear. Police launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, the palpable incident triggered tension in the area as locals gathered on the premises and demanded action against the lawbreakers.

Cantonment Police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.

The CCTV footages installed in the locality are being examined to identify miscreants.

Police said that it was yet to be ascertained whether it was a bomb or cracker. A scientific team will be pressed into service to know the intensity of the explosion.
