**Bhubaneswar: ** In a broad day light loot, some unidentified miscreants on Tuesday looted Rs 2 lakhs from a fabrication unit owner after firing in blank two rounds of bullets at Lachipur-Balianta Road here under Commissionerate Police.
While the victim Asit Kumar Jena was going to Cuttack, six bike-borne miscreants stopped him at looted Rs 2 lakhs from him at gunpoint and fled the spot. A Suzuki and a Glamour bikes were used in the loot, informed Asit.
Speaking to the media, Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu said, “A complaint has been lodged at the Balianta police.The firing incident has occurred within the border of Balianta and Sadar police. A police team has reached the spot and investigation is on.”
