Missing ‘Ashtadhatu’ Idols Of Nrusinghanath Temple Found Near It After 3 Months

**Brahmagiri:** The ‘Ashtadhatu’ (eight metals) idols of Nrusinghanath temple that were missing since January 9 were miraculously found abandoned under a tree near the temple in Rendha village in Puri district on Friday morning.

The idols of lord Nrushingha and goddess Lakhsmi were kept in a bag in the village under Brahmagiri police limits here and it was spotted by few school children.

Following which, the children informed about the bag to the locals and two 500-year-old idols made of Ashtadhatu were recovered from the bag.

Notably, few miscreants had allegedly stolen the idols along with Radha Krushna idols and Patitapaban idols. Apart from this, 300 gram gold jewelries and 10 kg silver ornaments were also looted from the Nrusinghanath temple on January 8.
