Dhenkanal: A boy belonging to Mundeilo village under Parjang police limits who was missing from the last 8 days was found dead on Wednesday. His body was found near Jhilli Patharagada road under Kamakhyanagar police limits today morning.
The deceased boy, Biswabhushan Panda was staying at his maternal aunt’s home in Mahabir Road and studying at a school there. On January 11, his family lodged a missing complaint at Mahabir Road police outpost.
The police launched a search on the basis of this complaint and was able to trace the boy’s body on January 19. “Prima facie it appears to be a murder. We have registered a case and investigating the matter,” a police official said.
