Missing Minor Boy Found Dead In Puri; Foul Play Suspected

Puri: In a shocking incident, miscreants allegedly killed a minor boy and threw him in a waterbody near Shree Setu under Town police limits in Puri district on Thursday.

The deceased minor boy has been identified as Surya Sahu, a resident of the Town Police Station area.

Surya had reportedly gone missing on Tuesday after coming to the market to get breakfast for his family members. After failed to trace him, his family had lodged a complaint with the Town Police Station. To everyone’s surprise, his body was found floating in the waterbody on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Town police have registered an abduction case and launched an investigation into the matter to determine the motive behind the crime.
