Bolangir: Kantabanji police on Tuesday recovered the body of an old man, who had gone missing since February 21, from a paddy field at Rajamara village under Kantabanji police limits in Bolangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Dhubal Rana.
Rana’s family members made a frantic search for Rana after he went missing. When they failed to trace him, they filed a complaint with police.
Police, meanwhile, arrested a person who confessed to the crime. He killed Rana over a land dispute. The accused killed Rana and buried his body in the paddy field.
