Bhubaneswar: The body of a woman was found hanging near an apartment under construction in Damana area of the city today morning. The body of the woman was found hanging in a small cabin near the boundary of the building.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Jhili Behera was missing for the last 24 hours, and her family from Patia had lodged a complaint in this regard. Chandrasekharpur police have retrieved the body and sent it for an autopsy to Capital Hospital.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in this connection. Further investigation is on to ascertain the cause of death, suicide or anything else, the police said.
