Bhubaneswar: Members of Mission Shakti SHG groups from Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, and Balasore met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Nivas today evening.
The Chief Minister thanked the SHG members for the glitch-free delivery of national flags on the occasion of August 15-the 76th Independence Day.
Secretary to CM(5T) VK Pandian highly praised the work of Mission Shakti SHG members and advised them to carry on the good work.
The Mission Shakti SHG members said that the Chief Minister’s faith in addition to encouraging them had brought a great change in their lives. They described how the Mission Shakti programme had made them successful and expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
It is worth mentioning that this year, on the occasion of the completion of the 75th anniversary of Independence, the State government entrusted Mission Shakti SHG members with the responsibility of preparing and distributing 30 lakh national flags.
