Cuttack: Somalika, the rumored girlfriend of Tirtol MLA Bijay Shankar Dash today sought 15 days time to provide evidence to the Marriage Registrar, Cuttack, corroborating her allegations.
The Marriage Registrar had summoned Somalika to appear today. The registrar asked her to come with the evidence that Pratyusha Nanda is a married lady. The MLA is going to marry Nanda, a resident of Arunodaya Market area in Cuttack.
She has been asked to bring two witnesses to corroborate her allegations.
The matter has been posted for hearing on November 21.
The legislator had applied for marriage at the sub-registrar office on September 21. Objecting to the move, Somalika Dash submitted a petition at the same office on October 7.
On the other hand, neither Neither Bijay nor Pratyusha turned up to the office of the registrar.
A case related to the love relationship between Somalika and Bijay is under sub-judice. She leveled a series of allegations after the MLA did not turn up to marry her on the wedding day.
