Bhubaneswar: For the past four years, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has provided Mo Bus service in the capital region of Odisha making significant impact on citizens’ daily mobility and changing the way of commute in the capital region.
Due to the long outstanding public demand for expansion of the Mo Bus service to Tangi and Chandaka, CRUT added 2 new routes to serve the locations.
CRUT has always believed in green and sustainable transport and to promote that it is continuously adding Electric Buses to our fleet, which now totals to 35 buses plying in various routes in the city.
With effect from January 24th, 2023 the following Mo Bus Routes will be at service for the public:
Route-41 Baramunda ISBT – Tangi(Via-NH,Link Road,Badambadi)
Route-42 Baramunda ISBT – Nandankanan (Via-Chandaka)
The management decided to launch the service after receiving numerous requests for the mentioned routes. “We would keep adding new routes to serve the commuters better and provide hassle-free services. This new fleet of Mo Bus will be operational from 24th January, 2023. We are continuously trying to make Mo Bus the most preferred mode of transport in the city”, said Vijay Amruta Kulange, MD CRUT.
“Commuters have always been our priority and the two new routes that have been added were a long standing demand from the public. The new fleet will benefit the citizens of the capital region who opt for our Mo Bus services. We are continuously increasing our fleet and services, expanding it to the interiors and new cities, catering to the needs of citizens,” stated Dipti Mahapatro, GM CRUT.
