Mo Bus Runs Amok, Kills Woman In State Capital

Bhubaneswar: Tension ran high near DN Regalia Mall under Tamando police limits after a woman was run over by a ‘Mo Bus’, on Friday late at night.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver went out of control, hitting multiple people and dragging a woman for over 100 meters. The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene, sparking widespread outrage among locals.

As per reports, the bus driver was driving erratically before the incident attempting to run over people, causing widespread panic.

On a tip-off, police have taken the driver into custody. An investigation is underway to determine whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol or other substances. The incident has sparked outrage among locals, who demand stricter action against reckless drivers.

Recently, a young girl was killed while crossing the road near Nandankanan in Bhubaneswar after being hit by a Mo Bus. Similarly, on November 2, 2024, a young woman lost her left hand in a Mo Bus accident in Chandrasekharpur.
