Bhubaneswar: With the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections coming into effect from Saturday, the Grievance Cell of the Odisha Chief Minister will remain closed until the election process is over in the state.
An official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Sunday stated that as the Model Code is in force, the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell will remain closed.
The joint hearing of Monday’s public grievances by District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police has been adjourned. Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has officially notified the District Collectors and SPs that the model code of conduct has come into force with the announcement of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
