Bhubaneswar: Owing to the intensification of the deep depression in the Bay of Bengal, moderate rain or thundershower for 11 districts of Odisha has been predicted. Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) shared the prediction of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per the morning bulletin, over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi and Ganjam moderate rain or thundershower with one or two spells of intense rainfall is expected. Additionally, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely for the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha and Nayagarh.
As of 8.30 AM, the deep depression lay centred over North Andhra Pradesh, 15 km west-northwest of Kakinada(Andhra Pradesh). It will move west-northwest and weekend gradually.
