Bhubaneswar: Sambalpur and Kalahandi districts are likely to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by lightning, according to the prediction of the India Meteorological Department.
The weather office has also cautioned that some parts of these regions are likely to be affected.
Residents are advised to exercise caution and keep a close watch on the weather developments. To protect themselves from potential lightning strikes, people are urged to move to safer locations temporarily.
However, IMD predicted heavy rainfall and thunderstorms with lightning in several districts of Odisha on August 21 and 22.
