**Bhubaneswar:** Rate of rainfall will increase after June 25 as predicted by the Met Department here on Thursday.
“The showers will increase after June 25 due to the cyclonic circulation which is formed in the western part of Bay of Bengal”, said Met Director Sarat Sahu.
It is roving around the coastal regions of southern Andhra Pradesh and northern Tamil Nadu, he added.
The trough line formed over Rajasthan is passing across Manipur now, according to the reports of the MeT department.
The highest rainfall recorded on Thursday is Muniguda in Raigada district of south Odisha.
Muniguda recorded 64 mm rains on the day tipped to be highest in the state.
