Bhubaneswar: The Gajapati police have registered cases against more than 300 persons in connection with the ransacking of Adava police station followed by an attack on police personnel.
Around one hundred tribals on Tuesday gheraoed the police station opposing the detention of a villager in a ganja smuggling case.
Police detained the accused, a resident of Jharanpur village, after raiding the locality.
