Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the morning classes in all government, government-aided and private schools from class-I to XII till Friday.
The decision has been taken in view of the hot and humid conditions prevailing across the State.
The Information and Public Relations department has issued a press release regarding the decision quoting the School and Mass Education department.
According to the release, the morning classes will be held on June 21 (Tomorrow) from 6:30 AM till 10:30 AM.
The School and Mass Education department also informed that normal classes will resume from June 22 onwards.
Earlier, the Government had announced morning classes in schools for three days and directed the Collectors to change the timing or declare holidays after taking the weather conditions of respective districts into consideration.
