Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the rising temperature, the Odisha government today directed all government, government-aided private schools across the State to hold morning classes from 6.30 AM to 11.00 AM for classes I to XII from April 17.
However, taking into account the prevailing heatwave condition in their localities district Collectors can modify school timings, said an official press release.
Further, school authorities have been directed to ensure availability of drinking water and other facilities at the school premises.
