Mother Alleges Daughter-in-Law’s Hand in Son’s Murder

**Koraput: ** In a bizarre incident, a mother Sadhumati filed a case against her daughter-in-law in Narayanpatna police station, Koraput alleging that she had murdered her son a fortnight back.

Notably, 22-year old Sunil Hiyal hailing from Harijan Sahi, Narayanpatna block of Koraput district was married and had a daughter. But, he fell in love and married for the second time to Lankaswari Bagha (Puja) of Laxmipur block. Both his wives stayed together under one roof.

The police sprung into action seeing the complexity of the case and unearthed the mortal remains of the deceased by sending a scientific team to the spot.

The remains had been sent to MKCG Hospital, Berhampur for post-mortem and the police authorities have handed the mortal remains to his family members.
