Mother and Son Killed In Road Mishap In Odisha’s Berhampur

Berhampur: A woman and her minor son were killed in front of MKCG Medical College and Hospital in a horrific road accident in Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district on Thursday morning.

According to reports, the mother-son duo was coming out of the hospital on a scooter when a speeding car hit their two-wheeler just in front of the gate. The impact of the collision was so massive that the road divider was damaged.

The deceased woman has been identified as Sita Amma and the son as Ramachandra Patra. The deceased are residents of the Brahampur Ankuli area.

The woman as well as her son sustained critical injuries and was admitted to MKCG Hospital. They succumbed to their injuries a short while later.

Upon being informed, police arrived at the site of the accident. seized both vehicles and launched an investigation into the accident.
