**Nabarangpur:** In an unfortunate incident, the bodies of a 24-year-old woman along with her 7-year-old daughter were recovered from a well by the police.
This incident took place in Beheramunda village of Chhandahandi block of Nabarangpur.
In the preliminary investigation, police found out that the woman named Purnya Hotra, wife of Astru Hotra was little mentally deranged and was missing with her daughter since Monday. She jumped into the well situated in the fields along with her minor daughter.
According to the villagers, the couple got on well with each other and did not have any sort of domestic fight and all went well within the family.
“It seems as a suicide. We have registered a case of unnatural death. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. If something untoward is found, we will further investigate the matter,” said Pradip Mohanta, OIC, Chhandahandi police station.
