Sambalpur: Sambalpur Sadar police have arrested the principal accused and his mother in connection with snatching of Rs 15 lakh from one Rajesh Sahu of Kulathkani village in broad daylight on January 31.
Police have seized Rs 4 lakh from the possession of the principal accused and his mother.
The accused and his mother have been identified as Raghavendra alias Raghab Das (19) of Kandhasahi Jampali village under Bhanjanagar police station limits of Ganjam district and his mother Parbati Das (35).
Police said five persons including the principal accused were involved in the crime.
