Bolangir: Three motorcyclists were killed on Loisingha – Padmapur road after their two-wheeler was knocked down by a speeding SUV here on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Tulasi Ram Patel of Sadaipali village, Suranjan Patel of Kusanga village and Rajesh Patel of Rot village.
According to reports, the trio was coming from Rot and going towards Karakachia Chowk under Loisingha police limits. The mishap occurred near Karakachia Chowk leading to the tragedy.
The trio was rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital where they were declared dead. Loisinga police have registered a case and initiated a search for the SUV which had fled from the spot.
