Bijepur: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot in a tragic road accident at Mandarpali under Bijepur police limits, Bargarh district, on Friday after being hit by a speeding truck.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck rammed into a motorcycle from behind, causing the rider to fall under the vehicle. The truck ran over the victim, leading to his instant death.
On being informed, Bijepur police rushed to the spot, seized the vehicles, and initiated an investigation. Efforts are underway to ascertain the identity and address of the deceased rider.
