Jajpur: Dasarathpur Tehsildar Abinash Biswajit Sethy has claimed to have survived a murder attempt on Wednesday while stopping illegal sand mining on Baitarani river bank in Jajpur district.
As per a complaint lodged by Sethy at Mangalpur Police Station, some miscreant tried to run him over with a tractor near Palasahi. Based on the complaint, police have seized the tractor and detained its owner.
