Bhubaneswar: Renowned music director Abhijit Majumdar’s health condition is still critical, with no significant improvement reported. He is currently on a ventilator at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, informed the hospital’s executive director.
As per reports, Abhijit was shifted to AIIMS about 10 days ago from a private hospital in Cuttack due to his deteriorating health. Abhijit has been suffering from liver-related complications and was being treated at the private hospital before being transferred to AIIMS via an ambulance with ventilator support. Upon admission to AIIMS, he was found to have low sodium levels in his brain and was experiencing breathing difficulties. He received initial treatment at the trauma center before being shifted to the central ICU.
Abhijit’s health condition continues to be a cause for concern, and he remains under close medical supervision at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
